There is a chill in the air and that first frost is just around the corner, perfect for enjoying a local glass of wine by the fire, before or after your dinner at the Steakhouse. The log fire has proven to be very popular with locals and tourists alike, and the kids corner with the DVD’s and colouring in books is keeping the younger ones entertained so mum and dad can relax.

This month also sees the introduction of the new Autumn/Winter menu & includes all those winter favourites plus a couple of twists with a few new dishes.  For something new why not try the:

  • TENDER BEEF & PORK RAGU tossed through a house made gnocchi which is pan-fried & finished with fresh parmesan cheese
  • HOT BUTTERED WHISKY with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, brown sugar, butter & cream
  • APPLE & PEAR CRUMBLE topped with coconut & oat crumble, served with fresh cream & rhubarb coulis. Suitable for 2 to share…. if you are willing!

Also with the colder weather, the Sunday Big Breakfast is getting busier so book ahead for a seat.  For you coffee lovers, they always make sure there is either perculated local coffee or the cappucino machine is on, & there is enough to tempt everyone with bacon, eggs, mushrooms, cereal, toast, fresh local fruit, gourmet yoghurt and herbal teas.  They also have soy milk and gluten free bread on hand as required.  Make sure you book your table & mention any special dietary requirements.

Their VIP club is growing in size and remember VIP’s get dinner on the house on their Birthday.   MAY Special:  Free dessert when purchasing a main meal per VIP member.  To join up just pop onto their website or facebook page, or feel free to organise on your next visit.

Mother’s Day is soon and it always gets very busy, so don’t forget to book your table for brunch.  Full details can be found below and on their website.  Numbers are limited so give them a bell quickly to secure your spot.
