Peggy & Robert Channon have been handcrafting the region’s finest wines since 1998, and are incredibly proud to produce all their award winning wines in their own vineyard and winery.

The winery is blessed with amazing soils, elevation, stunning views and a great water supply. A stroke of luck was that back in 1998 the nursery supplying the vines couldn’t supply the chardonnay they had ordered so they had to plant verdelho, and the rest is history.

Located in the Premier Wine Region of Queenslands Granite Belt, Granite Ridge Wines are true boutique, hand-crafted wines of exceptional quality, low sulphur and great value for money. We create them in small batches to provide you with exquisite attention to detail and taste.
Testament to the quality and unique wine styles crafted here at Granite Ridge Wines, we have 3 wines included in the Granite Belt Strange Birds Wine Trail; Petit Verdot, Tempranillo and Verdelho. 'STRANGE BIRDS' are quality alternative wines that represent not more than 1% of the total bearing vines in Australia (as defined by 'Wine Australia'
Summit Estate Wines offer award winning wines of elegance and complexity. Our vineyard is planted to mainstream and alternative cultivars, with an emphasis on aromatic Mediterranean & European varieties. Summit Estate is also actively focusing on the highly successful Strange Bird experience that is similarly offered by many Stanthorpe wineries.

Tantalise your taste buds with Multi Award Winning Lagers, Ales and Stouts, all crafted at Brass Monkey Brew House, a Nano-Brewery situated within the alluring surrounds of the picturesque Granite Belt area. Offering a broad variety of handcrafted boutique beers, all made with passion and dedication on site by owner Ernie Butler.
