Motel Reception & Restaurant Front of House

20–25 hours per week | Tuesday to Saturday | Immediate Start

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable all-rounder to join our team at High Street Motor Inn & Aussie Beef Steakhouse in a dual role spanning Motel Reception and Front of House waiter / waitress

This role is ideal for someone who loves variety, enjoys meeting people, and takes pride in great customer service.

About the Role:

Your shift will swing between motel reception and restaurant duties:

Motel Reception (from 3pm, varied afternoons):

Greeting and checking in guests with warmth and professionalism
Handling payments and accurate record keeping
Managing phone calls for motel and restaurant bookings
Attending to guest needs and providing local information

Restaurant & Front of House (Restaurant open from 5:30pm):

Getting the restaurant ready for evening service — setting up tables, bar, and facilities
Greeting and seating guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience
Taking food and beverage orders, liaising with the kitchen, and delivering meals
Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout the shift
Processing payments and closing off tables

About You

Friendly, bubbly, and confident with great communication skills
Polite and professional — you’ll be the welcoming face to guests on arrival
Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Quick to learn with good attention to detail
Experience in hospitality or reception preferred, but not essential — we’re happy to train the right person
Looking for a long-term role within a supportive team
