Cocktails at the Steakhouse, StanthorpeIs licking the plate rude? It is that good!  The steakhouse is finding the rave reviews continue and we are enjoying the changes including the latest menu with Australian wild caught Barramundi, grilled haloumi, garlic pizza bread and our new petite steak range including 150g Eye fillet, 150g Rib Fillet and 200g Rump fillet – all certified Black Angus Beef.

If you havn’t popped your head in the last couple of months, you will find a few changes including the refurbished dining area, with candlelit tables and new intimate layout.  A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the fresh produce from the area.  Thankfully we have Sam from the Summit Fruit Shop to supply all of our fruit and vegetables and now have over a dozen local wineries highlighted on our wine list.  Each week we sample 6 new varieties by the glass, so pop up to the bar to have a taste and find your next favourite.

Our new chef, Kristoff has brought his wealth of knowledge from working in Steakhouses all over the world including New York State, Canada and the UK.  There has been a line-up for his creamy baked potato that has even our grandma’s jealous.  And he certainly has the knack for cooking the steaks to perfection.

Spring has also brought some delicious additions to our cocktail list including a delightful vanilla & peach chai tea and our very own “Ginger Sundowner” including Castle Glen ginger liqueur and sparkling red grape juice with a dash of fresh lime.  For the cooler evenings, our hot buttered whiskey will warm you with it’s spicy aroma’s and creamy texture.

To entice you to join us, we have a few October specials listed below.  Just mention the ad when booking your table and bring along your partner, extended family, the hot neighbour or just a good book and enjoy a fantastic meal at the Steakhouse.  The Steakhouse is open Tues to Sat evenings from 6pm and their Sunday Big Brekkie is from 7:30am – 9:30am.  Make sure you book  your table.  Ph: 4681 1533
